So while I was driving to work today, I hear Loni Swain (WGCI) talking about a up coming Nate Dogg mix, ?????? I Thought nothing of it until I turned the Score (670) on & Dan Bernstein confirmed the death of Nate Dogg!!!
So I have to tell you my Nate Dogg story!
It was a MixxShow DJ party hosted by Nate Dogg at Ambassador west & his tour bus!! ( artist lobbing to get important djs to play his records ) this was about 7 or 8 years ago, Nate was chillen on the tour bus, but there was stripper entertainment in a suite at the Ambassador, of course everyone came to greet Nate on the Bus 1st, No names of course, but when I entered the bus it was full of smoke and Dj’s, so as I entered Nate was getting it in on Ps2 playing Madden ( I was a hardcore madden player back THEN ) So of course I was like “what’s up with the sticks” none of the mixers really smoked or played the Madden ( and there were free hoes upstairs) , so it was me and Nate hitting the “J” and Nate had that Sticky It-Kee!! So he picked the Viking when Cullpepper was on the cover, Nothing but deep bombs all game to Moss, I was Salty about the LOSS!!! So by then most in attendance were strolling towards the “suite”!! ” So Nate What U On”, Nate was like ” I got hoes on the bus, ( and he did have Ho’s on the Bus) why do I need to go upstairs!! “4 sure” (me)!! He lite the next “j” and I Beat that ass ( or his ass ), he didn’t pick the Viking!!! (if u were a smart player the “Viking” were almost UNBEATABLE that year!!!!!! After we stopped playing the game he pulled out his Pint mason jar full of that sticky It -Kee, but the killer part was he started singing ” I got the best Weed in the world” ( Hook verse ) while he was rolling the next “J”!! Nate was a Cool brother, I enjoyed his presence, the few times we met!!!
