R&B fam, tap in. Kevin Ross just dropped a 5 track EP on April 4th called LOVE UPTEMPO Vol. 1 and it’s a whole vibe, front to back. Short, sweet, and smooth with zero skips.

The EP kicks off with “Love Uptempo (Intro)”, a sexy groove that immediately pulls you in and gets your body moving. From there, we slide into “Back 4 More”, a silky R&B joint that had me geeked from the jump, yep, that’s Hunter in the intro dropped, which means Yaahn Hunter Jr is behind the boards. Always a good sign.

Track 3, “Spin”, is radio-ready with that smooth Afrobeats bounce that’s perfect for spring. But the next one? “Afrolude”? That’s it for me. Might be short, but it’s straight summer bliss. Vibes on 10, another Yaahn Hunter Jr joint.

Then we close it out with “Love In the Middle”, a tight track with a dope bridge, bringing the project home with class and clarity.

At just 12 minutes, this EP is built for the repeat button. Loop it a few times and let it soak in. R&B lovers gon’ feel this one, even if they might wrestle with the subject matter. Ross gave us just enough to want more… and we definitely are ready for Vol 2.
