This week’s ride opened with mellow moods, warm chords, and raw feeling, here’s a soul soaked stretch of new R&B featuring cuts from Nippa, Isaiah Falls, and Dylan Sinclair. Then we moved into some deep grooves with Tash and Tyla keeping things cool before we shifted the vibe completely.

From there, it was straight into the heat. Kizz Daniel and Angélique Kidjo brought power to the Afro beats set, and Dlala Thukzin’s latest drop set the tone early. Ayra Starr and Wizkid kept the pace high, while Kold AF and Prettyboy D-O added some pop bounce with serious edge.

As always, we landed right back in the hip hop bag. New music from Stormzy, K-Trap, Theo Martins, Jon Connor, and Logic hit hard. That Theo and Thelonious Martin project? Still criminally underrated. We even tapped into some electronic energy from Erick the Architect and Jazzanova’s live session cut, plus a left-field gem from André 3000’s seven piano sketches.

By the end of the session, we’d covered chill, love, energy, anger, reflection and came out the other side with gems from MIKE, Sonnyjim, and one last heater from Flee Lord and NEMS to close the show.
