On June 10th’s episode of New Music Tuesday, we opened the show by honoring the late, great Sly Stone. Just a day after his passing, I had to start with “If You Want Me to Stay”, a timeless groove from a musical pioneer who changed the soul and funk game forever.

The ride didn’t stop there. This week’s episode spanned genres: R&B, Afrobeats, hip-hop, alternative, samba, and even Brazilian jazz. From Ice Spice and Alex Isley, to Evidence, Ty Dolla $ign, and newcomers like SWEATA and Tml Vibez, the playlist was packed with fresh heat and deep cuts.
