This episode of New Music Tuesday was one for the books. Broadcasting live across time zones , Tuesdays on Color Music Radio (10AM NYC, 9AM Chicago, 7AM LA, 3PM London, 4PM Prague, 6PM Dubai) so we kept the summer fire rolling with genre spanning heat and a deep conversation with an international hip hop voice: Nironic.

Known for shaking up the Czech hip hop scene in the early 2000s, Nironic carved out a name for himself when few Americans were making noise in Europe. His collaborations with Czech heavyweights like DJ Wich made him a fixture in the region’s hip hop underground, with bars, beats, and bilingual respect. He’s back now with a new single called “High”, and we chopped it up about how his journey started in Prague, what’s changed, and what’s next — including a return performance at DJ Wich’s O2 Arena show this September.

But that’s just part of the ride.

We also dug into new music from legends and rising stars alike. Raekwon dropped a new LP, Tyler, The Creator blessed us with bold new cuts from DON’T TAP THE GLASS, and Snoop, TOBi, Cham & the Marleys, and Jaz Karis all made appearances in the set. We covered ground from soulful R&B to jazz-tinged rap, dancehall remixes, afrobeats, and reggae-rooted resistance music.

The energy? Global, fresh, and rooted in culture.
