This week on Freedom Thursday, the speakers stayed red hot as we let rock take over. Hour One built the foundation with a mix of classics and unmistakable anthems: Level 42, Genesis, The Police, Smashing Pumpkins, Don Henley, Peter Gabriel, Chaka Khan, Corey Hart, Green Day, and more. From the iconic Don’t You (Forget About Me) to Bullet With Butterfly Wings and Message in a Bottle, it was wall-to-wall energy.
Then came the 2nd hour and we didn’t just step it up, we launched with The Chemical Brothers’ Go, setting the tone for an explosive run. From there, we rolled straight into alt and hard rock power hitters: Papa Roach, Nickelback, blink-182, Good Charlotte, Tracy Bonham, Staind, Nine Inch Nails, Games We Play, and twenty one pilots. Each track kept the momentum climbing higher, proving why these records still hit hard today.
Adding even more flavor, I called up Jacob from Mesto=Galerie, who gave us the inside scoop on a brand-new art installation in Mladá Boleslav, a perfect reminder that music and art live on the same creative frequency.
I don’t rock out too often, but when I do, I go all in. 🎸 This Freedom Thursday was pure energy, connecting classic riffs, alternative rebellion, and modern voices in one powerful ride.
