The Czech & Slovak DMC Championship 2025 went down in Brandýs nad Labem and brought together the best DJs from across the region. From scratch battles to classic routines, showcases, and judge performances, this year’s event proved why the DMC legacy is still the ultimate proving ground for turntablists.

With DJs representing Slovakia, Czechia, and beyond, the stage was packed with energy, precision, and creativity. Below you’ll find video highlights, reels, and photos from every corner of the event.

One of the highlights of the evening, was with the Scratch Final, a Slovakia showdown between DJ Tentato and DJ Barny. With two one-minute rounds, Tentato came out on top and earned his spot to represent Slovakia at the World DMC Scratch Finals in Tokyo this October.

The heart of the competition, the Classic Final, featured 6-minute routines showcasing creativity, technical skills, and performance.

  • DJ Simonczech (protégé of host DJ Friky) took the win, earning his ticket to represent in Tokyo.
  • DJ Mercy (Bratislava) brought high-energy mixing and body tricks, finishing 2nd overall.
  • DJ Bery secured the 3rd place spot, marking him as another name to watch in the Czech-Slovak scene.

Beyond the competition, the night was lit up with special showcases from DJs who brought extra fire to the stage:

  • DJ Fly (France, DMC World Champion) – a masterclass in performance and stage control.
  • DJ Mike One (Czech Republic, DMC Czech Champ 2012 & Supremacy Champ 2013) – returned with a powerhouse routine.
  • DJ Swordz – put on a showcase focused on scratching with just one turntable, showing creativity in limitations.

The 2025 Czech & Slovak DMC Championship proved again why this event remains one of the most respected in the region. From young talents like Simonczech stepping onto the world stage, to legends like DJ Fly reminding us of the artistry of turntablism, The competition at Brandýs nad Labem was a celebration of hip-hop culture, DJ battles, and community.

Beyond the main stage, the lobby was alive with energy too. The latest in DJ hardware was on full display, with gear like the Rane Twelve MKII and Pioneer’s newest mixers and controllers set up for anyone to test. Between battles, DJs and fans crowded around the setups, trading scratches, trying new tricks, and keeping the vibe moving like a second stage.

Stay tuned for October when DJ Tentato (Scratch) and DJ Simonczech (Classic) represent at the DMC World Finals in Tokyo.
