This week’s New Music Tuesday was all about movement, blending genres and emotions into a two hour journey. The show opened with the stunning jazz tones of RAYE “What a Difference a Day Makes” (from the Netflix series Black Rabbit), setting a soulful mood that eased into smooth R&B from UMI, Moonchild & Jill Scott, and Thundercat.

Pop highlights like Mimi Webb, Qveen Herby, and Rochelle Jordan brought melody and flair, while electronic grooves from Nic Fanciulli, oskar med k, and SG Lewis & Shygirl kept the dancefloor energy alive.

The second hour took a sharp turn into Hip Hop, starting heavy with LilSimz before diving into lyrical and beat driven excellence with Rockie Fresh, Curren$y, Mick Jenkins, Rapsody & Madlib, Pugs Atomz, Mobb Deep, and even Ice Cube delivered the raw edge. Underground cuts from Knucks, RJ Payne, and Termanology & SUMiT feat. Method Man pushed the culture forward, while Cookin Soul’s “RAW TAPES” laced the ride with nostalgia.
