This week’s Freedom Thursday was a straight up celebration of everything I love about House music. From the very first beat, I was locked in with dancing, vibing, and paying respect to the late, great Ron Carroll, a true legend who helped shape the House sound we all know and love.

The show kicked off with Louie Vega’s “Joy Universal” and ran deep into classics like Hardsoul’s “Back Together (feat. Ron Carroll)”Hardrive’s “Deep Inside,” and Romanthony’s “Hold On.” We kept the energy flowing with timeless cuts from Kelly G, Kenny Bobien, Black Coffee, DJ Spinna, Barbara Tucker, Robin S., Larry Heard, and even the acid-defining grooves of Maurice Joshua and Jungle Brothers. Every track carried the heartbeat of House MUSIC, it was soulful, deep, spiritual, and unapologetically raw.

It was a House head’s journey filled with soulful vocals, deep basslines, and acid-driven energy. By the time Barbara Tucker’s “Beautiful People” and Robin S.’s “Show Me Love” hit, it felt like the dancefloor was alive right here on the airwaves.

🔥 Diesal’s Energy was everywhere in this one.

If you know me, you know I live for these moments, I was digging deep into the crates, mixing soulful gems with underground essentials, and keeping the legacy of House alive while introducing new listeners to the culture.
