The night at Lucerna Music Bar was pure alchemy. Czech electronic innovator HRTL opened the evening with an analog-heavy performance that blurred the line between science and sound. Surrounded by wires, knobs, and patch cables, he looked like a mad scientist at work & with each twist and connection producing a hypnotic pulse. His set wasn’t just music; it was a visual and sonic experiment in live electronic creation.

Then came DJ Krush, the legendary Japanese producer and DJ whose influence has shaped global hip hop and downtempo for decades. Known for his atmospheric beats, cinematic layering, and mastery behind the decks, Krush captivated the Prague crowd with effortless precision. His subtle movements, deep focus, and rhythmic control reminded everyone why he’s considered one of the world’s great turntable craftsmen.
From my position on stage, I had the rare opportunity to capture both producers up close—showing every movement, every knob twist, and every beat dropped. The energy flowed from the booth to the crowd, a beautiful exchange between artist and audience. By the time Krush closed his set, the room was drenched in groove and gratitude.

It was a night that reflected everything I love about documenting live music, being in the moment, up close with legends, sharing their artistry from a personal lens.
