This week’s New Music Tuesday was all about movement and emotion. We started the ride with House energy that had the whole room in rhythm. Vick Lavender set the tone with “Paint a Picture,” a deep soulful cut that immediately brought warmth and groove to the airwaves. Ron Trent followed, delivering that classic Chicago sound that blends pulse and passion into something timeless.

The first hour flowed through waves of R&B and Soul with Demae, Malia, Boy Soda, Jordan Ward, and Chlöe — each track carried intimacy and mood, showing how smooth melodies can still make you move. The vibe expanded with Afrobeats and Dancehall from Ayra Starr, Rema, Masicka, and Moliy, connecting continents through rhythm. Karizma’s album Can’t Call It lit up the set with production so clean it demanded attention. His sound stays ahead of its time and never misses. The first hour closed with Ron Trent’s “Black Magic Woman,” a reminder that House is more than music.

The 2nd Hour hit hard with Hip Hop. The Old school was fully represented with Big Daddy Kane and RZA brought back that golden era energy, DJ Premier and Big L sharpened the bars, while Nas, and Keith Murray reminded everyone what lyrical legacy feels like. From there, the new wave held it down with 7xvethegenius, Curren$y, and Wale all delivering top tier records of the week. The show proved that real Hip Hop continues to evolve without losing its roots.

Every track on New Music Tuesday tells a story of sound and soul. Whether it’s R&B melting into House or Hip Hop echoing its past and future, the show reflects what I stand for while giving you quality music to make you groove.
