Freedom Thursday was a full spectrum ride from start to finish. The show opened with electric and alternative leaning selections, setting an open minded tone with artists like Nakeyo, Noga Erez, Shygirl, PinkPantheress, and Addison Rae. Those early moments balanced edge and melody, easing listeners into a space where genre lines stayed loose.

From there the energy shifted into rich R&B territory. Abby Jasmine, Benjamin Carter, Cleo Sol, Jill Scott, and Erykah Badu brought warmth, reflection, and soul, grounding the set in feeling and intention rather than trends.

In the second hour, the rhythm naturally slid into reggae and roots driven selections. Bob Marley, Ziggy Marley, Damian Marley, Kabaka Pyramid, Protoje, Chronixx, Collie Buddz, and Koffee carried the vibration, giving the show a global pulse and conscious weight.

To close things out, Freedom Thursday locked into classic hip hop energy. UGK, EPMD, A Tribe Called Quest, Slick Rick, and Showbiz and A.G. brought the boom bap foundation, ending the night with respect for the culture and the craft.

This was a true ChuckDiesal Freedom Thursday. Genre fluid. Soul forward. Timeless energy from top to bottom.
