This is the Best of New Music Tuesday #3, I have been focusing on the strongest new records of 2025. The show was curated as a complete journey, not just a collection of songs. It opened with a soft and intentional tone, leaning into modern R&B and soulful records that set the mood and created space for listeners to ease in.

As the first hour developed, the sound expanded globally. African artists played a key role in shaping the direction of the show, with records from Tems and Tyla highlighting just how influential Africa was in defining the sound of 2025. From there, the energy shifted naturally into Amapiano and we closed out the first hour with rhythm, movement, and warmth.

The second hour raised the temperature, because Hip Hop took the lead, starting with a sharp lyrical entry and moving into what stood out as one of the strongest spiritual hip hop records of the year. From that moment forward, the show flowed without interruption, balancing message, momentum, and musical weight. The energy peaked as the tempo increased, before settling into a powerful closing that delivered intention and meaning rather than noise.
