This week on New Music Tuesday with ChuckDiesal we opened with a global groove from Monique Bingham, Black Coffee, DBN Gogo & Ntwana_R delivered “Deep In The Bottom (of Africa)” and set the tone for a show that moves beyond borders. From there we flowed into soul and R&B vibes. Moonchild’s “Strong (feat. Erin Bentlage)” brought depth and emotion. Jesirae’s “Real Love” stood out as my favorite in the week. Two Chicago legends joined forces on “I Still Need Love 2 (feat. Common & Madison McFerrin)” and the groove carried. The first hour closed with house and dance rhythms to keep the body in motion.

In the second hour we shifted into hip hop and lyrical focus. Kofi Stone’s album set the tone. Marco Plus & Boldy James brought the hits. Santana Fox’s new project radiated flavor. De La Soul released a fresh single that reminded me of purpose in the culture. Diplo, Project Pat and Juicy J raised the temperature again. Over two hours we delivered heart, rhythm, story and discovery. The year may be wrapping up but the sound keeps growing.
