The event at Panda Music Club in Velké Meziříčí was completely off the chain. HIP HOP 50 Český Rekord was not just a show, it was a real celebration of Czech hip hop culture and it felt 1000 percent like a family affair. From the moment I walked in, the energy was heavy with respect, history, and genuine love for the culture.

I was there to witness Czech hip hop make history on January 30, 2026, as Stray Side and YaKnow?Check! officially registered a Czech record with the presence of Agentura Dobrý den. The record marks the longest hip hop track produced in the Czech Republic and the largest number of participating artists ever released on a single hip hop recording in the country. More than fifteen MCs came together on one track, supported by a full visual rollout and pressed to vinyl, making the moment official and permanent.

What made the night special for me personally was being deep inside the real Czech hip hop community. Reconnecting with old friends, meeting new ones, and feeling that shared understanding of what this culture represents. This was hip hop in its purest form. No egos, no shortcuts, just people who truly care about the craft and the culture.

The evening included the official Czech record registration, followed by the vinyl christening of HIP HOP 50. In between, the room stayed alive with live performances from the artists involved in the project, freestyle rap sessions, DJ sets on vinyl, and graffiti visuals supported by Molotow Praha. The balance between legacy and future energy was on full display.

Performances throughout the night featured StrayCheck! which brings together Stray Side and YaKnow?Check!, alongside artists like Jimmy G and Namtrack, MC Matheus, and more contributors connected to the project. DJ duties were handled by YaKnow?Check! on vinyl, DJ Czech Mike, and Stray Side, keeping the sound rooted and authentic all night long.
