New Music Tuesday Returns With Global Energy

After spending a week in Portugal, New Music Tuesday returned with a refreshed ear and strong global perspective. The Ride With ChuckDiesal continues to spotlight new releases that cross genre lines while maintaining musical depth and authenticity.

The show opened with the musical textures of Tom Misch, setting a smooth tone that balanced alternative and soulful influences. From there, the playlist moved naturally through rhythm driven records connecting modern R&B, electronic elements and experimental sounds.

Strong vocal performances guided the early part of the show including the genre bending collaboration between Thundercat and Tame Impala which continues to resonate across multiple audiences.

Additional selections from Keri Hilson and Jenevieve reinforced the strength of today’s R&B landscape while Zion Marley brought reggae influence into the global mix.

As the show progressed, the sound moved deeper into hip hop territory with artists like Kota the Friend and Marlon Craftcontinuing the tradition of thoughtful lyric driven music.

Independent voices including Oddisee and Styles P reinforced the culture’s foundation while newer artists helped push the sound forward.

This episode reflects the purpose of New Music Tuesday. Discovery, range and respect for the craft. From soul to alternative, reggae to hip hop, the common thread is always quality music.
