The Diesal Report. Hempress Sativa and Paolo Baldini Live in Prague

There are nights where the music plays… and then there are nights where the music takes over the entire room.

That’s exactly what went down when Hempress Sativa and Paolo Baldini touched the stage at Fuchs2.

From early in the night, the space was already filling up, but once the session locked in, it was clear this wasn’t just another show. The crowd was fully engaged. Wall to wall energy, people moving, locked into the frequency from the first drops of bass.

I was right there in the middle of it, capturing everything. Photos, video, and moments that show not just what the stage looked like, but what it felt like to be inside that room.

That crowd energy was real. No gaps, no slow moments. Just a steady wave of people feeding off the sound system and giving it right back.

Hempress Sativa commanded the stage with presence and purpose. Her voice carried weight, cutting through the dub with clarity while still riding the rhythm. Paolo Baldini, on the other side, was building and breaking the sound live, hands on the controls, shaping every echo, delay, and drop in real time.

This wasn’t playback. This was live dub in its purest form.

Live Moments from the Session

Each part of the night brought a different layer to the experience, from full band energy to deep dub control.

Boom (Wah Da Da Deng)

That moment tapped straight into the dancehall foundation. Immediate reaction from the crowd, hands up, movement everywhere. One of those songs where you feel the shift in the room instantly.

Shakk Attack Live Performance

The band brought a different texture to the night. Live instruments, raw groove, and that organic feel that only a band can create. It added depth to the entire session.

No Retreat

A standout performance. Message heavy, energy high, and the crowd fully connected. You could see it from the stage angle, people locked in and responding to every word.

Skin Teeth

Dark, heavy, and driven by bass. This one sat deep in the dub pocket and let the system breathe. Hempress delivered with control and presence.

After the Stage

When the music stopped, the connection didn’t.

Hempress Sativa came out to meet the people. No barrier, no distance. Just real interaction. Fans grabbing vinyl, merch, and taking moments to connect. I caught a quick conversation with her as well. Genuine, grounded, and fully present.

That part matters. It shows what kind of artist you’re dealing with beyond the performance.
