New Music Tuesday opened outside the box, starting with STELLA LEFTY bringing country energy before the show slid right into R&B with Tone Stith, Mack Keane and Eli Mary setting a soulful tone. Tank and the Bangas kept that groove alive, while PawPaw Rod and Maximillian added smooth layers that carried the first hour forward.

Once the soul lane settled in, the show shifted into alternative territory with Genesis Owusu, JPEGMAFIA and PARTYOF2 bringing a different kind of energy. From there house stepped in through Lady Alma, Marley Marl and Crackazat, giving the close of the first hour movement and rhythm without losing the vibe.

Second hour came in with momentum, led by Crackazat before Afrobeats and dancehall took over the lane. Asake, Adekunle Gold, RajahWild and Johnny Drille kept the global energy flowing, while Shaggy brought reggae into the mix naturally.

The closeout locked fully into hip hop with strong releases from Drake, Paul Wall, Nick Grant and Smoke DZA. The whole show moved across genres without feeling disconnected, keeping the energy high while still letting each lane breathe. This is what New Music Tuesday does, finding new sounds and putting them together in a way that keeps listeners moving through the full ride.
