This edition of Africa Incorporated opens with a celebration of classic Funk and Soul. Carl Carlton, Leon Haywood, The Gap Band, and Midnight Star immediately set the mood with timeless grooves that still sound just as good today as they did when they first hit the airwaves. These records remind us why Funk became the foundation for so much of the music that followed.

The ride then transitions into contemporary R&B with Kevin Ross, Victoria Monét, and Normani. While the production is modern, the feeling remains the same: soulful vocals, memorable melodies, and records built on groove. Tobe Nwigwe, Fat Nwigwe, and Chance the Rapper continue the journey through Hip Hop, bringing creativity, positivity, and personality before the show makes another turn.

The final chapter heads toward Africa with the deep, spiritual sounds of Afro House. JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela deliver extended grooves filled with percussion, atmosphere, and emotion, creating the perfect bridge into the closing moments of the show. Dvsn then brings everything back home with a smooth R&B finish, reminding us that no matter where the journey travels, Soul is never far away.
