🚨 EARLY WARNING: CANNAFEST 2026 RETURNS TO PRAGUE

📅 November 6–8, 2026
📍 PVA Expo Praha Letňany
🌿 Cannafest 2026

I’ve been attending Cannafest for close to eight years now, and somewhere along the way I stopped feeling like somebody simply visiting an expo.
I’ve become part of its community.
That matters when I tell you this is one of those Prague events worth giving some real time to.
Cannafest returns to PVA Expo Praha Letňany for three days bringing together cannabis culture, cultivation, technology, business, education and an international industry that continues to evolve quickly.
And I approach this one from several angles.
I’m a cannabis consumer. I’m a grower—and growing plants in general is something I genuinely enjoy. I follow the business and investment side of cannabis. I’ve watched technology change, regulations shift, companies appear, disappear and evolve, and I’ve had enough conversations inside these halls over the years to know there is always something new to learn.
So when I walk Cannafest, I’m not just looking for free samples and flashy booths.
I’m paying attention.
🌱 THERE’S A LOT MORE GROWING THAN PLANTS
One of the strongest things about Cannafest is how many sides of the industry meet in the same building.
Cultivation equipment. Genetics. Seeds. CBD. Vaporizers. Extraction technology. Nutrients. Lighting. Growing systems. Hemp products. Accessories. Business services. Media.
Then come the conversations.
Growers talking to growers.
Companies showing new technology.
People trying to understand changes in the industry.
Consumers asking better questions.
Businesses looking for relationships.
That is where Cannafest becomes more useful than simply scrolling through products online.
You can touch things.
Ask questions.
Compare products.
Talk directly with the people building them.
And sometimes walk away thinking differently than when you came in.
🌿 I’VE WATCHED THIS EVENT FROM DIFFERENT SIDES
My relationship with Cannafest has evolved the more I’ve interacted with it.
I started as someone attending because the subject interested me.
Over the years, those visits became relationships and conversations.
Then last year my experience moved into another space completely.
Through SlowDown Radio, I hosted radio slots directly from Cannafest and later co-hosted the private VIP vendors’ awards party.
That event was not open to the public. It was a different side of Cannafest—exhibitors, businesses and people working inside the industry having their own moment after spending the weekend building, selling, talking and networking.
Experiencing both sides gave me even more respect for how much actually happens around this expo.
You see the public event.
Behind that are hundreds of people working to make the whole ecosystem move.

📻 SLOWDOWN RADIO IS BACK
And that relationship continues in 2026.
SlowDown Radio is once again an official Cannafest media partner.
For me, that’s big.
Cannafest is absolutely the lead story here. People are coming for the expo, the exhibitors, the information, the products and the community.

But when you are walking those halls, make sure you find SlowDown Radio.
Come holler at us.
Find out what we’re doing that day.
Catch some music.
Catch some radio.
Maybe stay longer than you planned.
The final accompanying program is still being developed, so I’m not going to start announcing artists, times or broadcasts before Cannafest does.

That’s where the confirmed information should come from.
🧠 COME CURIOUS
You don’t need to be a grower.
You don’t need to own a cannabis business.
And you definitely don’t need to know everything about cannabis before walking through the door.
Actually, coming in curious might be the best way to experience it.
Talk to people.
Ask why one lighting system is different from another.
Ask about genetics.
Ask about cultivation.
Ask about hemp.
Ask about regulation.
Ask companies what has changed since last year.
If you’re an investor, look at where companies seem to be putting their resources.
If you’re a grower, look at the technology.
If you’re a consumer, learn more about the products you’re actually using.
If you’re just curious, absorb it.
That’s the value of having this many parts of the industry sitting in one place.
🌍 EIGHT YEARS LATER…
After roughly eight years of coming through Cannafest, I’m still finding reasons to return.

But my relationship with the event is different now.
I’ve gone from attending, to making connections, to working inside the weekend with SlowDown Radio and being trusted with a microphone during events connected to Cannafest.
That’s growth.
And that is also one of the things I appreciate about this community: the more you genuinely participate, the deeper the experience becomes.
So this year I am coming back with SlowDown Radio, with Africa Incorporated, with my own interest in cannabis and cultivation, and with years of relationships built inside this event.
Cannafest remains the destination.
We’re just becoming a bigger part of the experience.
