The Diesal Report
On March 28, 2026, The Beatnuts brought their signature New York Hip Hop sound to Distrikt Prague for a night built on classic records, strong crowd connection, and the type of live energy that reminds you why Hip Hop continues to travel globally.

DJ Poeta opened the evening with a set that warmed up the room properly, setting the tone for what would become a strong gathering of Prague Hip Hop heads. The audience was already engaged early, building anticipation for a group whose catalog helped shape the golden era sound.
By the time The Beatnuts hit the stage, the room was about three quarters full, but the energy felt complete. Positioned dead center just a few feet from the stage, I was able to capture the performance from a direct perspective as JuJu and Psycho Les delivered a set filled with recognizable classics and crowd favorites.
JuJu, always a hot mess in the best way joking with the crowd, kept the atmosphere loose and entertaining throughout the show. Both artists were lively, sharing moments with the audience and even passing a bottle into the crowd, reinforcing the connection between performer and listener that defines real Hip Hop shows.

One of the standout moments came during Watch Out Now, as JuJu delivered his verse with confidence and clarity, reminding everyone why the track remains a staple in Hip Hop playlists decades after its release.
No Escapin This brought another wave of recognition from the audience, with heads nodding and phones up capturing the moment as the group continued to show the strength of their musical library.
Se Acabo added another classic to the night, keeping the crowd fully engaged as the performance moved through records that helped define an era of Hip Hop built on strong beats and direct lyrical delivery.
The closing moments of Off The Books showed the group spreading appreciation to the Prague audience, demonstrating that Hip Hop culture continues to connect communities across cities and generations.
After the performance, DJ Friky closed the night on the decks, keeping the music alive and allowing the crowd to continue enjoying the atmosphere created throughout the evening.

Events like this continue to show the strength of Hip Hop culture in Prague, where dedicated listeners come out to support artists whose music helped build the foundation for what we continue to listen to today.
