This episode of Africa Incorporated was built on feel and flow.
We started in a soulful space, letting the music breathe early with artists like IAMNOBODI, Yuna, and Raheem DeVaughn. These are records that don’t rush the listener. They set a tone, they create space, and they allow the emotion to settle in.
From there the show naturally picked up a little edge.
The transition into electronic textures came through KAYTRANADA, PinkPantheress, and Nia Archives, bringing rhythm and bounce without breaking the overall vibe. The energy lifted, but it never lost control. That’s the key — movement without chaos.
Black Coffee and Byron the Aquarius helped stretch that middle section, blending dance elements with soul intention. This is where the show really found its pocket between groove and atmosphere.
Then we brought it back home.
The final stretch leaned fully into soul again with Dinner Party, Robert Glasper, and August Greene, before closing with timeless energy from Tom Misch, Eek-A-Mouse, and Sade.
That last run locked everything in. Smooth, grounded, and intentional.
This was a ride about balance.
Soul foundation. Electric lift. Soul closing.
