Last night I found myself at Chutnej, where something more than a music video premiere took place, it was a community of influencers, open minded people and disruptors. Piqi Miqi debuted his latest piece “My Room” in front of a packed, loving, and wildly eclectic international crowd, the kind of gathering that isn’t always easy to find in this city.

Before the screening, I grabbed a quick moment of Piqi introducing the video. Here’s that short clip:

And while the full video hasn’t been released yet, you can check out the visual for the track on YouTube below:

Directed by the sharp and imaginative Annie RatMy Room is a horror comedy love letter to the early 2000s, think house parties, teenage recklessness, and that unexpected twist when something otherworldly shows up. It’s smart, playful, eerie, and honest in a way that’s distinctly Piqi.

The room was alive with artists, expats, locals, and creatives all vibing with the same frequency. Conversations sparked between strangers, old friends reconnected, and you could feel a quiet appreciation in the air, & I definitely enjoyed networking with this crowd.

After the screening, Piqi and Annie opened up for a Q&A. No ego, just storytelling, gratitude, and connection. And once the lights went up, the party kept flowing with conversations, an UNO Table, laughter, and a reminder that this city still has places where art builds bridges.

📸 I didn’t take many pictures from the night, but here are a couple of moments from the night.
